App: Barcraft  ·  Last updated: June 15, 2026

Barcraft is a cocktail recipe app for iOS. This policy explains what data the app handles and how it is used.

Data Collection

Barcraft does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with the developer or any third party. The app has no analytics SDK, no advertising framework, and no backend server operated by the developer.

Data Storage

All data you enter — your recipes, bars, ingredient selections, photos, and settings — is stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Cocktail recipes and ingredient data are bundled with the app and available fully offline.

iCloud Sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, your user-created data (recipes, ingredients, bars, and settings) is automatically synced across your devices via Apple's CloudKit. This data is stored in your private iCloud container and is not accessible to the developer or any third party. You can disable iCloud for this app in your device's Settings > Apple Account > iCloud.

Photos

You may optionally add photos to your recipes using Apple's system photo picker. The app only receives the specific photos you select — it does not access your photo library or camera roll. Photos are stored locally on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, in your private iCloud container.

Recipe Suggestions

The app offers an optional feature to suggest a recipe for the official catalog. This uses Apple's built-in Mail composer to send an email to the developer. No data is sent automatically — you review and confirm the email before it is sent.

Third-Party Services

Barcraft does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only network service used is Apple's CloudKit for iCloud synchronization.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Because no data is collected by the developer, the app is safe for users of all ages in this regard.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
